As a part of the ongoing Centenary Celebration, the last event of the year was the farewell to class 12th on 20 December,2016. The event was witnessed by the guests, staff & the students of class 11th along with the outgoing class.
During the ongoing centenary year and for the very first time in the history of St. Thomas' College, the school witnessed the First Inter-House Staff Singing Competition held on 16th December 2016.
The finals of the Centenary Inter-School Staff Badminton Tournament was held on the 10th December, 2016, where the teachers from 12 schools participated in the tournament.
A dazzling night at St. Jude’s School, Dehradun where the Alumni of St. Thomas’ College were given a warm welcome by Mr. R.V. Gardner, MLA & Principal, St. Thomas’ College at the august gathering on the occasion of the ongoing Centenary Celebrations of St. Thomas’ College.
His Excellency Dr. K.K. Paul, Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand gave away the awards to the meritorious students. The guest of Honour was Lt. Gen. Rakesh Sharma, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, Adjutant General, Integrated Headquarters, New Delhi and an Ex-Thomasian, who gave away the trophies to the students who excelled in the field of various sports.
The event was organised on the historical Rangers’ College playground. The display opened with the colourful carnival put-up by the Junior and Middle school children, followed by the elegant opening march past done by the four houses namely Burn, Cole, Degruyther & Fraser.
The Pagal Gymkhana commenced with various games organised on the Rangers College ground such as: Three Legged Race, Wheel Barrow Race, Musical Chair, Shuttle Relay and many more. The alumni looked thrilled and excited as they took an active participation in all the games and the events.
A number of children participated and the enthusiasm among them was clearly palpable as they ran 3.5 km for girls and 5.5 km for boys in the early morning sunrise.

An Inter-School Debate was organised on Thursday, 12th May, 2016, during the ongoing school festival “Spectrum 2016”.
The finals for Indoor cricket for boys and girls 2016 was held at Gardner Multipurpose Auditorium at St. Thomas' College, Dehradun.
The academic year 2016-2017 commenced with the Investiture Ceremony in the Gardner Multipurpose Auditorium. Twenty-Six deserving students were appointed as the prefects of our college.
In the continuing celebrations marking the 100th Year of St. Thomas’ College, a Cyclothon was held in which over 250 students and teachers of the college participated.
St. Thomas’ College, Dehradun commenced its celebration of the Centenary year with its Thanksgiving Service held on the 30th January, 2016. The Thomasians along with its Alumni, commemorated the thanks giving service by singing hymns to thank and praise God for making the institution fortunate to celebrate its 100 chaste and dedicated years of service in the field of education.
67th Republic Day of India on Tuesday, 26 January 2016 was celebrated at school campus. The flag hoisting ceremony was held followed by singing of the National Anthem and distribution of sweets amongst children.
Yet another year came to a successful close. Some fond memories created, some friends separated, tears shed.
Only to leave with a hope to meet again.
Sayonara Batch 2015-2016
This tournament was started in the year 1986 when Mr. R. V. Gardner felt the need of getting the staff of various schools to interact with each other. Chief Guests for the evening were Mrs. Meenakshi Saxena, Principal, Touchwood School.
One of the most eagerly awaited events of our academic year was the marathon, held on 10th November 2015.

The Prefect's Investiture Ceremony was held in the school hall on 30th April 2015.
This was a solemn ceremony where recognition was given to all the student leaders in the school.
