St. Thomas’ College in its current Centenary year organised a historic event for the first time ever in the Doon Valley, the spellbinding sand art show presented by the world renowned sand animator, Col.(Retd) Ronnie Chhibber, an Ex-Thomasian and School Captain from the batch of 1968.
The occasion for the event was also the release of the Centenary Souvenir magazine of St. Thomas’ College.
Col. Ronnie Chhibber through his exemplary art, portrayed the odyssey of St. Thomas’ College and brought alive the yester years of the Institution. Giving life to the grains of sand, Ronnie Chhibber amazed one and all present in the premises of St. Thomas’ College.
The show was one of its own kind. The audience included distinguished guests, Principals and students of various illustrious schools of the Doon valley. The souvenir was released by the Chief Guest Dr. Savita, IFS, Director FRI, Dehradun, Colonel Ronnie Chhibber and Mr. R.V. Gardner, MLA, Principal, St. Thomas’ College.
The Principal Mr. R.V. Gardner, MLA in his vote of thanks praised the rare talent of an Ex- Thomasian Col. Ronnie Chhibber and also thanked the Chief Guest Dr. Savita, IFS, Director FRI, Dehradun as well as the Principals and students of various schools for sparing their precious time to witness the show.
