Six schools participated in this debate. St. Josephs’ Academy, Summer Valley School, Carman School, Dalanwala, Convent of Jesus and Mary, St. Thomas’ College and St. Jude’s School.
The topic under fire was Should Teachers Be “Friends” With Students On Social Networking Sites, Convent of Jesus & Mary was declared the winners while St. Jude’s School was the Runner-up. The Best Speaker for the motion and Turncoat category was Andri Uniyal of Convent of Jesus & Mary while Kshitij Bisht of St. Joseph’s Academy was presented with the best speaker award for Against the motion.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs. J. Kumar, Principal, Carman Residential & Day School, Premnagar, and an Ex-Thomasian (College Captain 1986)
